Gimaletdinov Ilgiz Failovich, born November 18, 1988, manager of the company "SrubMontazh", lived in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
He was sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony with a fine of 450,000 roubles (~€4900) and restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year after release on charges of membership in the banned organisation "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami" under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 ("Participation in the activities of an organisation that is recognised as terrorist in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation") and Part 1 of Art. 30, Art. 278 ("Preparation for actions aimed at the violent seizure of power, as well as the violent change of the constitutional order") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Even according to the investigation, he did not participate in violent actions.
He has been in custody since February 4, 2015.
