Davletbaev Vadim Zakievich, born April 18, 1991, lived in Ufa. He is married and has a young child. Vadim has secondary specialised education, worked as a hairdresser.

In 2014, he was convicted under Part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Threat of murder or causing serious bodily harm") to 300 hours of community service. Sentenced under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation") to 12 years in a strict regime penal colony.

In custody since April 19, 2017.
